The Terracap Group had its emergence in 1989 in Toronto, Canada, with a group of real estate professionals and high net-worth investors. Principal and CEO Larry Krauss, a lawyer by trade, represented clients respecting a variety of tax investment alternatives, and began to receive encouragement from many of these legal clients to consider setting up a real estate structure for investment purposes.

As a result, Mr. Krauss founded Syndicat Management Inc. (“SMI”) in order to manage his clients’ real estate holdings, and later expanded and rebranded the company as Terracap in order to capitalise on his vision.

With an eye to the future, Mr. Krauss began leading unified business dealings and opening a new generation of investment opportunities.

30 years and 4 million square feet of investment properties later, Terracap is an influential investment platform that is transforming and stewarding North American properties and businesses.
